CSLA Legacy Project Award Nomination

 

BRIEF

The CSLA Legacy Project Award is intended to recognize distinguished landscape architecture projects which: o were forward-thinking for their time o contribute significantly to their communities o showed leadership and innovation, and o are still relevant examples of excellence in the profession of landscape architecture. The purpose of the award is to honour: o projects which have left and continue to leave a lasting impact on Canada’s landscape o the landscape architect(s) instrumental in the project’s conception, maintenance or revitalization, and o the client, responsible for the project’s maintenance and continued development. The award will provide an opportunity to recognize and develop awareness of important projects in communities across Canada.

 

SCHEDULE

All submissions must be received at the component association by Friday, 4 January 2019 at 4:30 p.m. (local). Component associations must submit endorsed nominations to the CSLA Awards of Excellence Team c/o Department of Landscape Architecture in the University of Manitoba by 25 January 2019 at 4:30 p.m. (central). Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted

 

AWARDS

The Award recipient is notified by the CSLA President. The award will be remitted either during the CSLA Congress or at a special event at the project location.
