SKY FOREST AND BEE FARM

BRIEF

The program challenges participants to design a Sky Forest & Bee Farm Hotel Skyscraper design or concept must take advantage of any great views around it, minimise the bad. in the Chelsea district of the Manhattan in New York Metropolitan Area. The design should be visually and aesthetically engaging in contributing positively to the area with emphasis on provision of great hotel and leisure facility. It should maximise the positive contribution of such a vertical structure whist minimising the negative impact.

The proposal should incorporate at least the following zones as participants are free to decide on the ratio, size and space combination within the program:
· Administrative Zone (Offices)
· Hotel Residence Zone (Rooms, Suites)
· Hotel Lobby Zone (Lobby for Check-in, Check-out, Waiting, Lounging)
· Nature Zone (Bookstore and store on nature /conservation)
· Recreational and Social Zone including terrace (Bars, Restuarants, Cafe)
· Medical, Health, Fitness and Relaxation Zone
· Green Zone (Sky Forest and Bee Farm – these can be in seperate levels or parts of the development)
· General Access, Circulation and Safety
· Parking is not neccessary and where provided must be below ground.

AWARDS

Winning project entries will receive prizes totaling US$ 3,500.00 distributed as follows:

1st Prize
– US$ 2,000 (TWO THOUSAND US DOLLARS)
– Publication in SuperSkyScrapers – Volume 5 Book
– Published on the SuperSkyScrapers website and social media platform
– Published on various online magazine, blogs and media platform

2nd Prize
– US$ 500 (FIVE THOUSAND US DOLLARS)
– Publication in SuperSkyScrapers – Volume 5 Book

– Published on various online magazine, blogs and media platform

3rd Prize
– US$ 500 (FIVE HUNDRED US DOLLARS)

10 Special Mentions (Subject to Jury Discretion) will also be published on our website, social media and book

FEES

Entrant shall be required to pay an entry fee as follows:
· Early Registration: $80 US from 06th February 00:00 (GMT) to 20th February 2018 23:59 (GMT)
· Standard Registration: $100 US from 21st February 00:00 (GMT) to 06th April 2018 23:59 (GMT)
· Late Registration: $120 US from 07th April 00:00 (GMT) to 19th April 2018 23:59 (GMT)
