TMD 2018 INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITION, DESIGN WEEK 2018, MILANO
BRIEF
Third edition of TERRA MIGAKI DESIGN 2018 (TMD) on contemporary design made with raw earth. This third edition is dedicated to the sustainable design of objects that requires skills in the field of design and in machining techniques of the raw earth. The project developed for the competition can belong to any category of products or objects of furniture, with particular regard to the peculiarities of the clay material, in reference to its functional purpose. The function of the object should be compatible to raw earth material, paying particular attention to its specific characteristics. The use of raw earth can be hybridized or combined with other materials. The use of raw earth material can be premixed using industrial products.
